The impact of the increase in Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) rates on cigarettes and alcoholic beverages has begun. Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD), announced that a price hike has been applied to the Efes beer group.
Dündar stated that price hikes due to the ÖTV are also expected for other alcoholic beverage groups.
The prices will be effective as of today (January 4).
The new beer prices are as follows:
