According to the autopsy report of 21-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, who went missing in Van and whose lifeless body was found by the lake shore days later, it has been determined that the cause of death was drowning.

Rojin Kabaiş, a student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ) Preschool Teaching Department, who told her friends she was going to the beach to collect pebbles, went missing on September 27 and was not heard from again.
Search efforts for Kabaiş, whose mobile phone and headphones were previously found on the beach, were carried out continuously in both the lake and coastal areas with the participation of special teams formed under the coordination of the Van Governor's Office.
Kabaiş's lifeless body was found on the shore of Lake Van in the Mollakasım neighborhood of the Tuşba district. After examinations were conducted at the scene by the teams, Kabaiş's body was taken to the Van Forensic Medicine Institute by a funeral vehicle.
WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF ROJİN KABAİŞ'S DEATH?
Following the preliminary autopsy examination, nearly 100 samples were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute.
According to the preliminary autopsy report, no findings related to sharp object or firearm injuries were encountered, and no bone fractures were detected.
Later, the results of the examinations conducted on the nearly 100 samples sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Center were sent to the Van Forensic Medicine Institute.
In the result from the Forensic Medicine Report, it was determined that Rojin Kabaiş lost her life by drowning in Lake Van.
