Kasım Garipoğlu's driver confesses everything: He revealed the names who attended drug parties

As part of a drug and prostitution operation targeting prominent businessman Kasım Garipoğlu, Murat Can Şirin (27), who served as Garipoğlu's driver between 2022 and 2025, came to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to make confessions.

Stating that he wanted to tell what he knew by sending a petition from prison, Şirin went to the courthouse on January 29 to give his statement.

HE WAS PRESSURED

When Şirin began giving his statement, an unknown lawyer stated that Berkay V. wanted to participate in the testimony, to which Şirin said, "I did not want this person to participate in the testimony. He tried to pressure me not to tell the truth. I did not accept. I want to tell what I know by trusting the state, without slandering anyone."

DRUG PARTIES AT HIS MANSION

In his statement, Şirin said that drug parties were held every two weeks at Kasım Garipoğlu's mansion in Yeniköy.

According to his statement, famous names also took part in these parties held at Garipoğlu's yacht.

Şirin alleged that the following individuals were among those who attended the events:

Cihan Şensözlü, Ege Mutaf

Şevval Şahin

Derin Talu

Monkey Project operator Charlie, Merve Taşkın

Zeynep Alkan, Özge Ertöz

Patrizio Ragusin and Şeyma Subaşı

Following the confessions, it was learned that arrest warrants were issued for Merve Taşkın and Alpaslan Kaya, who are reported to have fled abroad.
