Leadership struggle in FETÖ! Power wars among the sons-in-law

As the 'leadership' struggle continues within the organization following the death of FETÖ ringleader Fetullah Gülen, the influence of Cevdet Türkyolu, Adem Kalaç, Ahmet Kurucan, and Muhammed Yeşilyurt—whose names rose to prominence through marriages arranged by Gülen's instructions—has come to the agenda.

HE MARRIED HIS NIECES TO EXECUTIVES WITHIN THE STRUCTURE

According to information obtained from security sources, while the ringleader Gülen was alive, he attempted to secure his own position and grew even more powerful by using the influence of his sons-in-law, marrying his nieces to executives within the structure to ensure the organization's machinery he created would not break down.

Four sons-in-law named Cevdet Türkyolu, Adem Kalaç, Ahmet Kurucan, and Muhammed Yeşilyurt stand out within the organization.

In addition to these, son-in-law Ekrem Dumanlı, who is on the Executive Board, also possesses significant power.

Dumanlı is known as the former son-in-law of İzzet Akyar, one of the businessmen closest to the terrorist organization's deceased ringleader Gülen.

His father-in-law Akyar provided strong support to his former son-in-law, ensuring his place on the Executive Board.

After separating from İzzet Akyar's daughter, Dumanlı married Esra Dumanlı, who is 17 years his junior.

It is known that Esra Dumanlı is also a relative of Cevdet Türkyolu, nicknamed "Long Cevdet," the organization's black box.

Cevdet Türkyolu, who married Mebrüke Türkyolu, the daughter of Fetullah Gülen's brother Seyfullah Gülen, was appointed to FETÖ's Executive Board in 2023 and has been the person closest to organization ringleader Gülen for the last 30 years.

Drawing power from his title as a son-in-law, Cevdet Türkyolu caused the removal of Osman Şimşek, the former coordinator of the "Herkul.org" website and Fetullah Gülen's former private secretary, from Pennsylvania, and ensured that his own son-in-law, Muhammed Yeşilyurt, took over the management of the website and Gülen's private secretariat.

SONS-IN-LAW IN HIGH POSITIONS

Son-in-law Adem Kalaç, one of the so-called mullahs trained by Fetullah Gülen, is married to Hansa Zeynep Kalaç, the daughter of Seyfullah Gülen.

Adem Kalaç, who also served in the establishment of the organization's covert operations in the 1980s, served as the general manager of EbruTV, which broadcasts from the USA.

Kalaç, who was brought into the organization's Executive Board formed in 2023, is influential and powerful within the organization due to being brothers-in-law with Cevdet Türkyolu.

Ahmet Kurucan, who married the daughter of Fetullah Gülen's brother Mesih Gülen, is also the brother-in-law of Ebuseleme Gülen, who is an opponent of the names on the Executive Board.

Kurucan, who served as the private secretary to organization ringleader Gülen before Osman Şimşek, is known to be one of the so-called mullahs.

Kurucan, a graduate of Ankara University Faculty of Divinity, engaged in trade for a while in the USA but was unsuccessful.

Kurucan is considered one of the so-called fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) authorities in the organization.

Muhammed Yeşilyurt, who is married to Cevdet Türkyolu's daughter Büşra, is one of the so-called mullahs trained by Fetullah Gülen.

Yeşilyurt, who served as the ringleader Gülen's private secretary, was also the person who took on his personal care in the last house where Gülen resided.

Ali Çelik, the father of Ömer Çelik—who is married to Cevdet Türkyolu's other daughter, Hafsa—is one of the partners of Bank Asya and one of the organization's money vaults.

Ali Çelik's financial power and Cevdet Türkyolu's effectiveness within the organization make this marriage significant.
