Lived with her mother's corpse for 1 month
In Nevşehir, a disabled woman living in a squalid house lived with the corpse of her mother, who had passed away, for approximately one month. The incident came to light when the elderly woman's niece came to visit.

The incident occurred on Kızılırmak Street in the Karavezir neighborhood of the Gülşehir district. According to the information obtained, 48-year-old H.Ç., who is alleged to have mental health issues, was living with 81-year-old A.Ç.
The elderly woman passed away approximately one month ago. The daughter, who did not realize her mother had died, continued to live with her mother's lifeless body for days and continued to pile the trash she collected from the street onto her mother's corpse.
The incident came to light when the elderly woman's nephew came to the house.
A.D., who arrived at the house, first noticed the smell in the home and then encountered his aunt's decomposed corpse among the trash. Upon the nephew's report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Following the instructions of the Gülşehir Public Prosecutor's Office, police teams conducted a forensic search of the house. During their search, teams found A.Ç.'s decomposed corpse among trash bags in one of the rooms, and it was determined that the elderly woman had passed away approximately 1 month ago according to initial findings.
After the investigation at the scene, the elderly woman's lifeless body was taken to the Nevşehir State Hospital Morgue for an autopsy, while her daughter H.Ç., with whom she lived, was taken into custody by police teams.
The house filled with trash has begun to be cleared out by municipal teams. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
