Mansur Yavaş shares results of presidential poll: Bad news for Erdoğan

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş made statements at the Republican People's Party (CHP) Provincial Advisory Board.

Describing his meeting with CHP leader Özgür Özel and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Yavaş said, "I stated that I would not be part of any image that would suggest or reveal a division within the CHP."

At the meeting, Yavaş also shared the results of a satisfaction survey he commissioned for district municipalities and a poll for a potential presidential election.

"In all the work I do, I say this. We also spoke with the Chairman. A primary election will be held, that is their discretion, but my view is that there are still 3 years left; let our municipalities work and focus more on the citizens' problems so that satisfaction increases and our vote share rises.

As the election approaches, the three of us will come together again and review everything. This will never be called a split in the CHP. I have done my part and stated that I would not be part of any image that would suggest or reveal a division within the CHP. I repeat this. Because we have one goal. It is time for this government to change."

Yavaş, who also had the success and satisfaction rates of district mayors measured, noted the following:

In Elmadağ, satisfaction is 75 percent. Those who say they would vote for the CHP are at 46 percent, and the AKP is at 29 percent.

In Kalecik, satisfaction is 80 percent. Those who say they would vote for the CHP are at 33 percent, and those who say the AKP are at 43 percent.

In Şereflikoçhisar, satisfaction is 87 percent. Those who say they would vote for the CHP are at 44 percent, and the AKP is at 26 percent.

In Beypazarı, satisfaction is 84 percent. As a party, for the first time, the CHP is at 36 percent and the AKP is at 34 percent.

In Güdül, there is a 77 percent success rate. The CHP is at 35 percent and the AKP is at 38 percent. I can give the good news that we will be the leading party there as well.

The vote share in these places had not exceeded the 10, 15-20 percent level.

In Nallıhan, the success rate is 91 percent. Those who say they would vote for the CHP are at 44 percent. The AKP is at 31 percent.

In Ayaş, satisfaction is 70 percent. Those who say they would vote for the CHP are at 35 percent. The AKP is at 38 percent.

HE ALSO COMMISSIONED A PRESIDENTIAL POLL

Satisfaction in the Metropolitan Municipality continues at a rate of 63 percent. For the first time, the CHP as a party has reached 40.8 percent in Ankara. The AKP is at 28 percent.

In a potential presidential election, the CHP is in first place with 48 percent, and the AKP's candidate is in second place with 37 percent.

If we increase these efforts, stand by the tradesmen and the farmers, the greatest proof of what will happen if the government changes is the change in the municipalities. All the work that was not done in the past is now being done.”
