Matches of the day at EURO 2024 (June 16, 2024)

The first matches in Groups A and B have been completed at EURO 2024, hosted by Germany.

In the opening match of the major tournament, Germany faced Scotland in Group A. Germany defeated their opponent 5-1, starting the tournament with a victory.

In the other match of the week in Group A, Hungary and Switzerland faced off at Cologne Stadium. Switzerland, which defeated its opponent 3-1, gained a significant advantage at the end of the first week.
