In recent days, TV100 columnist Fuat Uğur had claimed that a female manager had "received 5 million dollars from the businessperson lover of a famous gay male artist." It was alleged that the romance between Serenay Sarıkaya and Mert Demir was not real, but rather a PR relationship.
Following the allegations, Serenay Sarıkaya, who did not speak for a while, had stated, "These are such strange and inconceivable things that there is nothing to say about them. Malicious people who do not want to believe this truth have been regularly attacking me for a year, targeting my family, my private life, and my work in order to discredit me.
