Meteorology issues 'heavy rain' warning! Air temperatures will rise

According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain showers in the west of the Marmara region, the surroundings of Bursa, Kütahya, and Manisa, and the northern parts of İzmir, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

WARNING FOR AVALANCHE DANGER, ICING, AND FROST

Icing and frost, along with haze and occasional fog, are expected in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours. There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 6 degrees in the inner and eastern parts and remain above seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow from the south in general, and from the north in Southeastern Anatolia, at a light to occasionally moderate strength.
