Meteorology issues warning! Thunderstorm alert for 4 regions

According to the weather forecast for Monday, June 2, from the General Directorate of Meteorology, rain is expected in four regions. Air temperatures will hover 2 to 4 degrees below seasonal norms in the central and eastern parts, and around seasonal norms elsewhere.

THUNDERSTORMS

It is estimated that the inland parts of the Western Mediterranean (excluding Burdur), the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the inland parts of the Western Black Sea, the Central and Eastern Black Sea (excluding Samsun), the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Afyonkarahisar will experience showers and thunderstorms.

BEWARE OF STRONG WINDS

Meteorology has warned citizens to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences, as winds are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the southwest in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia.
