Ministry of Treasury and Finance announces: Turkey's external debt stock released

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced Turkey's external debt data as of June 30, 2024.

Accordingly, while the gross external debt stock stood at 512 billion dollars, the ratio of this figure to the national income was at the level of 42.6 percent.

The net external debt stock was recorded at 265.4 billion dollars, and its ratio to the national income was determined to be at the level of 22.1 percent.

The treasury-guaranteed external debt stock was calculated at 16.6 billion dollars, while the net public debt stock was recorded at 6 trillion 337 billion liras.

The ratio of public debt to national income has been determined as 18.1 percent.

Turkey's EU-defined general government debt stock stood at 9 trillion 144 billion liras.

The ratio of this debt to the national income was announced as 26.1 percent.
