Located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, the Moda Deniz Kulübü was opened in 1935 upon the instructions of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Social and cultural activities are held at the Moda Deniz Kulübü. Members benefit from facilities at the Moda Deniz Kulübü such as the swimming pool, restaurant, and gym. Furthermore, some areas in the club are rented out for events such as invitations, engagements, and weddings.
To become a member of the Moda Deniz Kulübü, one must pay an entrance fee and subsequently pay annual dues. The amount required to become a member of the club in 2025 has been set at 750 thousand liras. However, there are also those who become members by paying a lower fee.
Children of Moda Deniz Kulübü members can become members of the club with an entrance fee that is up to 80 percent lower. The entrance fee scale is determined according to the age of the prospective member.
