In the Gebze district of Kocaeli, police and medical teams entered an apartment following reports of a foul odor and found 50-year-old mother Dursune Bilgili and her 5-year-old daughter Havva Nur Anzerli dead. It was alleged that both individuals had knife wounds on their bodies.

The incident occurred on the third floor of an apartment building on 302nd Street in the Beylikbağı neighborhood of Gebze.

Upon the report, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the address.

Because the door was locked, fire crews entered the apartment through the balcony and found mother Dursune Bilgili and her daughter Havva Nur Anzerli lying motionless.

Initial examinations by medical teams determined that the mother and daughter had passed away approximately 8-10 days ago.

It was learned that Dursune Bilgili was divorced and had another son aged 15-16, and it was claimed that they had not been seen for about 10 days.
