Mother stabs her 5-year-old child to death: Neighbors heard the screams
In Mersin, a 27-year-old woman, who was alleged to have psychological problems, stabbed her 5-year-old child to death.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in a 2-story house on 101110 Street in the Mevlana neighborhood of the central Toroslar district.
It is alleged that 27-year-old Revşan D., who was said to have psychological problems, stabbed her 5-year-old child, Mert Veysel K., after falling into a state of depression, leaving him severely injured.
The young child, who was taken to Mersin City Hospital by neighbors who heard the screams and entered the house, was determined to have lost his life.
Upon notification, police teams arriving at the scene apprehended and detained the mother, Revşan D., along with the knife used in the crime.
While the police conducted an investigation at the house where the incident took place, it was reported that the investigation is ongoing.
