The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing after leaving a Quran course in the Tavşantepe village of Bağlar, Diyarbakır, was found on September 8.
It was revealed that Narin had been a victim of murder, as her body was found inside a sack along with her school bag in the Eğertutmaz Stream, 1.5 kilometers from her home.
Under the coordination of the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a meticulous investigation conducted by four public prosecutors, including a deputy chief prosecutor, has led to the arrest of 12 people, including her mother Yüksel Güran, brother Enes Güran, uncle Salim Güran, the person who buried the body, Nevzat Bahtiyar, and her aunts Hediye and Maşallah Güran.
For 60 days, since August 21, the prosecutors have been working tirelessly, effectively 'digging a well with a needle' to gather evidence regarding the murder.
The obtained footage, audio recordings, HTS records, and testimonies have all been included in the investigation file following a detailed analysis.
While the prosecutors have shown great dedication day and night to shed light on the Narin murder, they have begun preparing the indictment. The indictment, which is being prepared by three public prosecutors under the coordination of the chief public prosecutor and the deputy chief prosecutor, is expected to be completed in the coming days.
The forthcoming indictment will provide answers to the questions of who Narin's killer is and who assisted them. The time for Narin's killers to be held accountable is approaching.
In the trial regarding the Narin Güran murder, which has dominated Turkey's agenda, all eyes are expected to be on mother Yüksel Güran, uncle Salim Güran, brother Enes Güran, and Nevzat Bahtiyar. The latest HTS records revealed that the mother, uncle, brother, and the confessor Nevzat Bahtiyar were all at the house.
