New civil servant salaries have been announced! Here are the increased figures by profession

The critical process for civil servants and civil servant retirees has come to an end. The proposal of the Arbitration Board in the 8th Term Collective Bargaining negotiations has been accepted. Accordingly, salaries will be increased by 11 percent in the first half of 2026 and 7 percent in the second half. In the first six months of 2027, the increase rate will be 5 percent, and in the second six months, it will be 4 percent. With the determination of these rates, the increased salaries that millions of civil servants will receive have also been calculated.

In the 8th Term Collective Bargaining process, which determines the salary increases for a total of 6.5 million civil servants and civil servant retirees, the proposal submitted by the Arbitration Board has been accepted.

2026 AND 2027 INCREASE RATES

For the year 2026, an increase of 11% will be applied in the first 6 months and 7% in the second 6 months. The proposal for the first 6 months of 2027 was increased by 1 point to 5%, and for the second 6 months, it was set at 4%.

LOWEST SALARIES

In July 2025, the lowest civil servant salary had risen from 43,726 TL to 50,503 TL, and the lowest civil servant retirement pension had risen from 19,617 TL to 22,671 TL. With the new increase rates, the raises that will be reflected in salaries in 2026 have become clear.

IMPROVEMENTS IN 58 AREAS

An agreement was reached on 58 articles regarding financial and social rights in the collective bargaining agreement. In this context, improvements were made to the financial rights of public employees with titles such as chief, supervisor, and manager, as well as technical, health, legal, and administrative personnel. Additionally, supplementary regulations were introduced for personnel in the auxiliary services class.

BASE SALARIES AND SUPPLEMENTARY PAYMENTS

In the first half of 2026, the base salaries of public officials will be increased by 1,000 TL.

The supplementary payment increase for personnel in the General Administration and Auxiliary Services class was raised to 10 points.

Foreign language compensation payments were increased.

It was decided to pay overtime wages to protection and security personnel on official and religious holidays.

An increase was made in the family allowance for children with disabilities, and the duration for disabled spouses and children in public housing was extended.
