New update on the health status of Ece Gürel, who was found in the Belgrade Forest!

Landscape architect Ece Gürel, who had been missing for days after disappearing in the Belgrade Forest on Sunday, was found alive in the same forest days later.

Search and rescue teams found Gürel alive with minor injuries; she had not been heard from since Sunday.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the health status of Gürel, who was taken under control by teams while conscious and found alive 9 meters away from the spot where her bag and coat were located.

Making a statement via his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya said, "As a result of the search and rescue efforts carried out on a 24-hour basis, our sister Ece was found in the rugged forest area at 01:15 today, and her treatment is continuing at the hospital where she was taken."

Minister Yerlikaya used the following expressions in his statement:

'HER TREATMENT IS CONTINUING'

"Thanks to God, Ece Gürel was found alive at the end of the search and rescue efforts carried out in the Belgrade Forest under the coordination of AFAD. Following the report received by our Emergency Call Center on March 3, police, gendarmerie, NGOs, and our volunteers were dispatched to the scene for search and rescue operations. 278 personnel, K-9 dogs, and our divers participated in these efforts. The area was searched with drones.

As a result of the search and rescue efforts carried out on a 24-hour basis, our sister Ece was found in the rugged forest area at 01:15 today, and her treatment is continuing at the hospital where she was taken. I wish her a speedy recovery from God. I would like to thank all our teams and volunteers who participated in the search and rescue efforts."
