The universities and departments chosen by the 2024-YKS top scorers have been announced. Accordingly, out of the 9 champions, 4 chose engineering, 3 chose economics, 1 chose business administration, and 1 chose medical school.

Following the announcement of the placement results for the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination (2024-YKS), the universities and departments where the top-scoring students have been placed have been revealed.
3 CHOSE COMPUTER ENGINEERING
According to the placement results, 4 of the 9 champions were admitted to engineering programs, 3 to economics, 1 to business administration, and 1 to medical school.
TYT top scorer Süleyman Mete Genç, a graduate of Mersin-Private Mersin Elit College Science High School, has been placed in the METU Computer Engineering department; AYT numerical top scorer Arda Taşdemir, a graduate of Elazığ-Cemil Meriç Science High School, has been placed in the Boğaziçi University Computer Engineering department; and YDT French top scorer Yunus Emre Aydoğan, a graduate of Istanbul-Çapa Science High School, has been placed in the Galatasaray University Computer Engineering department.
Mehmet Alp Güneş, a graduate of Istanbul Atatürk Science High School and the top scorer in the YDT English test, has been admitted to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at METU.
ONLY 1 PERSON CHOSE THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE
Fatih Emre Düzcan, a graduate of the private Rize Bahçeşehir College Anatolian High School who placed first in the AYT verbal field, and Berra Kuruş, a graduate of the Istanbul Galatasaray High School who placed first in the AYT equal weight field, were admitted to the Boğaziçi University Department of Economics, while Yusuf Salih Orhan, a graduate of the Istanbul Kartal Anatolian İmam Hatip High School who placed first in the YDT Arabic field, was admitted to the Koç University Department of Economics (full scholarship).
Safiye Yaşar, a graduate of Ankara-Ayrancı Anatolian High School and the top-scoring student in the YDT Russian language test, has been admitted to the Business Administration department at Bilkent University with a full scholarship.
Sevgi Kırmızıbekmez, the top-scoring student in the YDT German test and a graduate of Istanbul Kabataş Erkek Lisesi, chose to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine (Turkish program) at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University.
