Over 100 percent price hike for X Premium subscriptions: How much will the price be in Turkey?
The social media application X, formerly known as Twitter, has increased the prices for its Premium+ subscriptions. With the new pricing, users in Turkey will have to pay 770 TL instead of 300 TL per month to benefit from the service that completely removes ads from the platform.

X, the platform owned by Elon Musk and formerly known as Twitter, is implementing its largest price increase since it was acquired in 2022.
According to the company's statement, the monthly fee for the Premium+ service in the US has increased from $16 to $22, effective December 21.
The annual subscription fee has risen from $168 to $229.
EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS WILL NOT BE AFFECTED BY THE HIKE UNTIL JANUARY 20
X stated that it is adjusting prices to support the premium experience it offers. The company also noted that existing subscribers will be able to benefit from the old prices until January 20.

On the other hand, it was noted that users in Turkey will have to pay 770 TL instead of the 300 TL monthly subscription price for the service that completely removes ads from the platform.
INTERNATIONAL MARKETS ALSO AFFECTED BY THE HIKE
Similar increases are also taking place in international markets; prices in the European Union are rising from 16 euros to 21 euros per month.
In Canada, Premium+ fees will increase from $20 to $29.
No price hike announcements were made regarding the basic subscription plans.
