The 'early election' debates that began after the CHP emerged victorious from the March 31 Local Elections continue.
As citizens face difficult days due to the economic crisis, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has called for early elections.
While discussions on early elections continue, public opinion research companies are also continuing their polling efforts.
Most recently, Metropoll Research conducted a public opinion poll regarding the general election.
Striking results have emerged from Metropoll Research's latest survey.
The point gap between the CHP and the AKP has drawn attention.
On the other hand, the survey also included questions regarding the economy.
Sharing poll results on Halk TV, Metropoll Research Founder Özer Sencar stated that the CHP has moved 7 points ahead of the AKP.
CHP WIDENS THE GAP MORE THAN EVER BEFORE
In the survey, when asked "Which party would you vote for if a parliamentary election were held this Sunday?", the CHP received 33.8 percent of the vote, while the AKP's rate remained at 26.1 percent.
81 OUT OF EVERY 100 PEOPLE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE ECONOMY
Sencar stated, "The AKP has dropped 6 points in one month. The CHP is currently 7 points ahead of the AKP. Wage earners had expectations in July, but they received nothing. 81 out of every 100 people say 'the economy is being managed poorly.' If the economy continues like this, not even the CHP can save the AKP."
