Petty officer fathers clash after children fight: 1 dead
In Çanakkale, a dispute between fathers over their children fighting escalated into a brawl, resulting in C.B. shooting and killing his neighbor G.Y. with a handgun.

The incident occurred in the evening in the garden of the Kutluay Apartment building, 10th Stage, in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Esenler.
According to the information obtained, C.B., who is reported to be a healthcare petty officer working at a hospital, and retired petty officer G.Y. had been in a feud due to a fight between their children.
C.B. began arguing with his neighbor G.Y. in front of the apartment building. As the argument escalated into a fight, C.B. shot G.Y. in the back with the handgun he was carrying.
Upon notification by bystanders, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams determined that G.Y. had lost his life at the scene.
The suspect, C.B., was apprehended and taken into custody by the police at the scene along with the weapon used in the crime.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
