Photo of gold stolen from the Büyükçekmece Courthouse evidence locker emerges
In the incident where the official in charge of the Büyükçekmece Courthouse Evidence Office stole 50 kilograms of silver and approximately 25 kilograms of gold before fleeing to England, a photo of some of the stolen gold has emerged.

The incident occurred on December 1, 2025, at theBüyükçekmece Courthouse. According to information obtained,it was reported to the public prosecutor thatErdal T., a clerk assigned to the BüyükçekmeceChief Public Prosecutor's Office Evidence Bureau,had not been coming to work for a long time.Following this, the chief public prosecutor, along with officials, opened the evidencebureau room and the safesinside.During the search, it was determined thatapproximately 50 kilograms of silver andapproximately 25 kilograms of gold were missing.A photograph of some of the gold stolenfrom the Büyükçekmece Courthouse's evidence vault
has emerged.It was also revealed that the gold stolen byErdal T. consisted of jewelry seized during an operation targeting 113 suspects detainedwithin the scope of an investigation intofraudulent citizenship across 19 provinces centered in Istanbul.
