Playing with a gun ends in bloodshed
In Malatya, a 16-year-old child was injured after being struck by a bullet fired from a gun in his friend's hand.

The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Battalgazi districtin the Alacakapı neighborhood on Kamalı Streetat a detached house.
According toallegations, agroup of five friendshad gathered at a residence in thearea for the purpose ofsocializing.During this time, Y.A. (19) attempted to fire a pistol converted from a blank-firing gun, and the
bullet discharged from the weapon struckR.A. (16).
Following the report, police and medicalteams were dispatched to the area, and the injured R.A. was taken to Malatya Training and Research Hospital.
The suspectin the incident, Y.A., was apprehended by the Public SecurityBranchDirectorateteamsand taken into custody, while an investigation into the incident has been launched.
