Police fired upon during drug operation: One injured
Two suspects who opened fire on police during an operation targeting drug trafficking in the Fethiye district of Muğla have been taken into custody. A police officer was wounded in the leg during the clash.

Teams from the Fethiye Narcotics Crimes Bureau of the Provincial Security Directorate conducted an operation on an apartment in the Karaçulha neighborhood as part of their ongoing efforts against drug dealers across the city.
During the operation, the suspects inside opened fire on the police teams.
As a result of the gunfire, a police officer was wounded in the leg.
During the clash, one of the suspects was apprehended at the scene, while the other fled to a shop on the lower floor of the building.
Police Special Operations (PÖH) teams were dispatched to the area to apprehend the suspect, who was identified as being armed.
Following a siege and search operation that lasted approximately 4 hours, the suspect was neutralized and taken into custody in the shop where he was hiding.
It was reported that the wounded police officer was taken to the hospital and is in good condition.
