Police identify owner of fetus found in sewer
In Uşak, the identity of the 4.5-month-old fetus found in a sewer line was determined within 2 days as a result of detective-like work by police teams. The woman, who claimed in her statement that she had a miscarriage, was released.

According to the information obtained,municipal workers who arrived in the area to clear a blockage in the sewer linenoticed a fetusinside the sewer during their workandreported the situation to the 112 EmergencyCall Center.Upon the report,police teams were dispatched to the scene. Following the incident, the Provincial Police Department'sPublic Security Branch Murder Bureau teams, working like detectives,
determined which apartments were discharging waste into the sewer line. As a result of thiswork, it was determined that waste from 49 apartments flowed into the sewer.Not stopping there, the police teamsheld several meetingswith the Provincial Health Directorateto identify who among the residents of those apartments was pregnant.After the autopsy revealed that the fetus was 4.5 months old,it was determined that the pregnancy period of 25-year-old B.E.,who lived in one of the identified apartments,matched this timeline.
