Dilan Polat, who was facing up to 40 years in prison and was released on August 19, stated that her husband Engin Polat, who was released on September 6 while being tried in the same case, had bruises on his legs from praying in prison.
In her Instagram post today, Dilan Polat filmed her husband Engin Polat's legs and said the following:
“I applied ointment to Engin’s legs because from praying… There are no carpets there (in prison). They had turned black like this. You were hitting the floor, right? Mine were like that too. First they bruise, then they turn black, right Engin?”
