In a statement made by the Erzurum Governorate, it was stated, "Due to the adverse weather conditions and icing observed in our province, education has been suspended for one day on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in primary and secondary schools and private education institutions affiliated with the Aziziye, Palandöken, and Yakutiye districts. In addition, pregnant and disabled public personnel will also be considered on administrative leave for one day."

Snow closure for education in Samsun

In Samsun, education has been suspended for 1 day in some schools in many districts due to snowfall.

The Samsun Provincial Directorate of National Education announced the schools where education will be suspended tomorrow due to snowfall and icing. A snow holiday of 1 day was granted for some schools in districts other than the İlkadım district.

Due to the cold weather, it was announced by the Aksaray Governorate at night that schools were closed for tomorrow as well. In the written statement, it was said, "Due to the blizzard and icing danger caused by the heavy snowfall that started to be effective as of night hours in our province, education has been suspended for 1 day on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in all official and private formal and non-formal education institutions, rehabilitation centers, and Quran courses (excluding adults) throughout our province. Pregnant and disabled personnel working in public institutions, mothers whose children attend daycare and kindergarten, and personnel with chronic illnesses will be considered on administrative leave for one day."

Schools across Kırşehir have been closed for 1 day due to adverse weather conditions.

It was announced that schools were closed to prevent potential disruptions in transportation due to the blizzard that formed after heavy snowfall. Pregnant and disabled personnel working in public institutions and organizations will also be considered on administrative leave for 1 day. Authorities asked citizens not to go out unless necessary.

In Tokat, students receiving bussed education were granted leave on Tuesday, November 26, due to heavy snowfall.

In the statement made by the Tokat Governorate, it was said, "Due to the risks and dangers that may occur in transportation due to adverse weather conditions throughout our province, education has been suspended for 1 day on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, for primary and secondary education students who reach our schools via bussed education from our villages and towns, as a precautionary measure."

Education suspended for one day in Yozgat

The snow holiday granted to education due to adverse weather conditions in Yozgat has been extended for one more day.

In the statement made by the Yozgat Governorate, it was announced that while measures were being taken due to the icing continuing in the streets and the expectation of heavy snowfall throughout the province starting from the night hours according to meteorological data, education was also suspended for November 26. It was also reported that pregnant women, disabled individuals, dialysis patients, public officials with chronic illnesses such as heart and kidney failure and cancer, and mothers with children in preschool education institutions and rehabilitation centers where the holiday decision was made will be considered on administrative leave.

Education suspended for one more day in 10 districts of Malatya

The Malatya Governorate announced that education has been suspended for one day in some districts due to heavy snowfall, blizzard, and icing effective throughout the province.

According to the statement made by the Malatya Governorate, while it was stated that education will continue in all official and private education institutions in the Battalgazi, Yeşilyurt, and Kale districts, it was announced that education will be suspended for one day on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the Arapgir, Arguvan, Darende, Doğanşehir, Akçadağ, Yazıhan, Hekimhan, Pütürge, Doğanyol, and Kuluncak districts.

In addition, it was reported that pregnant personnel, disabled personnel, mothers whose children attend daycare or kindergarten, and personnel with chronic illnesses working in public institutions in the districts where education is suspended will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.

'Ice' holiday for bussed education in 3 districts of Trabzon

Due to the risk of icing that occurred after heavy snowfall in the inner parts of Trabzon, bussed education was suspended for 1 more day in 3 districts.

In the statement made by the Trabzon Governorate regarding the subject, it was said, "It has been decided by the District Governorship commissions to suspend education for 1 day on Tuesday, 26.11.2024, for bussed education in the Yeşilyurt Primary and Secondary School and Çankaya Primary and Secondary School transport routes and secondary education bussed education coming from these regions in our Araklı district; for bussed education in the Hamsiköy, Başar, Yazılıtaş, Bağışlı, Güzelyayla, Güzelce, and Gürgenağaç neighborhoods in our Maçka district; and for Çamlıyurt Primary School, Maden Secondary School, Oymalıtepe Primary School, Oymalı Martyr Sedat Kaplan Secondary School, Özdil Primary School, and Özdil Imam-Hatip Secondary School in the rural neighborhoods of our Yomra district."
