Result in the latest election poll that will make Erdoğan think: AKP is no longer the second party
As early election debates continue, the results of the latest election poll conducted by AREA Research have emerged. In the poll conducted with 2,044 people, it was observed that the AKP is no longer in second place.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who led the party to become the top party across Turkey for the first time in 47 years, continues his calls of 'If there is no livelihood, there is an election.'
Sözcü columnist Aytunç Erkin shared the results of the latest election poll by AREA Research in his column.
A total of 2,044 people participated in an election survey conducted between September 16-18 across 26 provinces and 87 districts, based on a regionalization system. The research yielded striking results.
CHP BECOMES THE LEADING PARTY
In the latest election poll, the CHP became the leading party with 25.8 percent.
The AKP's vote share remained at 20.9 percent.
The vote percentages of the other parties, in order, are as follows:
MHP: 7.6 percent
DEM Party: 7.3 percent
İYİ Party: 4 percent
Victory Party: 3.2 percent
New Welfare Party: 3 percent
TIP: 2.1 percent
Other: 0.9 percent
UNDECIDED VOTERS ARE THE SECOND LARGEST PARTY
In the election poll prepared by AREA, the undecided voters drew more attention than the vote shares of the parties. Undecided voters, with a rate of 25.2 percent, appeared to be the second largest party.
AREA Research also included in its survey which party undecided voters cast their ballots for in the 2023 elections; according to the results, the votes cast by the undecided voters were as follows:
AKP: 5.2 percent
MHP: 1 percent
CHP: 1.6 percent
İYİ Party: 3.3 percent
Green Left Party (DEM): 0.4 percent
Other: 0.5 percent
Non-voters: 13.3 percent
