The incident occurred on Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street in the Ulu neighborhood of the Osmangazi district. According to the information obtained, a dispute over right-of-way broke out between a female motorcycle rider traveling on the street and a female car driver heading in the same direction.
As both drivers blamed each other, the verbal argument intensified. During the dispute, the car driver steered her vehicle toward the motorcyclist and struck her. Due to the impact, the motorcyclist briefly lost her balance and became extremely angry.
Following the tension, the female motorcycle rider approached the car and struck the vehicle's right side mirror hard. After this action, the argument grew even larger, and both parties began insulting each other in the middle of the street. The incident, which bystanders tried to intervene in, caused traffic disruptions.
Describing the moment of the incident, motorcycle rider Rabia Bozkurt said, "I was traveling in the middle lane while in traffic. I noticed a vehicle behind me squeezing me. Because of the size of the motorcycle, it doesn't take up as much space in the lane as a car. The woman behind me squeezed me. As I pulled to the right, she came toward me. Then, when she became stubborn, she hit me, and I lost my balance. Although it was difficult, I regained my balance, got off the motorcycle, and reacted. These kinds of incidents should not happen."
