Strong winds and heavy rainfall, which the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology announced would reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour at times, negatively affected life in many parts of Antalya.
Due to the strong winds that began to show their effect in the evening hours, trees were uprooted and fell onto roads in some parts of the city.
During the heavy rainfall, some streams overflowed in the Sarısu, Gökdere, Karaçay, and Hisarçandır neighborhoods.
While streets were flooded due to the overflowing streams, the water level reached 50 centimeters in some locations.
In the Kepez region, the roof of an indoor soccer field located in the Gündoğdu neighborhood could not withstand the strong winds and collapsed while a match was being played.
While no one was injured in the incident, which occurred just as the footballers were preparing to start the game, the dialogue of the players, who were unsettled by the sounds coming from the roof, was also captured on video.
Speaking about the field, the footballers ran away from the pitch upon hearing the sudden noise, and the roof collapsed the moment they left the field.
Those moments were captured second by second on an action camera belonging to one of the players.
