RTÜK launches investigation after sexual intercourse video shown on Zahide Yetiş's program!

Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) Chairman Ebubekir Şahin announced that an investigation has been launched into the daytime program 'Zahide Yetiş'le Yeniden Başlasak', which airs on Star TV.

RTÜK Chairman Şahin stated the following in a post on his X account:

"An investigation has been launched regarding the program 'Zahide Yetiş ile Yeniden Başlasak' broadcast on Star TV. If any violations are detected in the broadcast in question, the necessary steps will be taken decisively."

On the daytime program 'Zahide Yetiş'le Yeniden Başlasak' aired on Star TV, host Zahide Yetiş showed obscene footage during the live broadcast to a man who claimed his wife was cheating on him.

After showing the footage, Yetiş turned to the man who claimed to have been cheated on and asked, "Is the woman here your wife?"

In Adana, a woman named Sabriye A. stabbed her bus driver husband in the neck while he was behind the wheel, claiming that he had kidnapped their child and was not letting her see them.

After those images became a trending topic on social media, a statement came from Sabriye A.

According to the allegations, Sabriye A. explained that she had received inappropriate offers from her husband's friends due to the gambling debts of Mehmet A., who is in the process of divorcing her, and that her husband had forced her into sexual relations with men, saying "nothing will happen just this once."

Sabriye A. stated that Mehmet A. had kidnapped their child and was not letting her see them due to an argument that broke out between them.

RTÜK announced that an investigation into the program had been launched following the broadcast of the obscene footage during the live show.
