The footage contains striking details from the moments when villagers and her family began searching on the day she went missing.
The body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who was reported missing on August 21, was found 19 days later in a sack, hidden with stones in a stream bed in the Tavşantepe neighborhood.
In the indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against 4 of the 12 suspects detained in connection with the murder, aggravated life imprisonment is requested for the suspects on charges of 'intentional killing of a child'.
The indictment also includes charges against uncle Salim Güran, whose vehicle contained DNA and hair samples belonging to Narin, as well as her mother Yüksel Güran, her brother Enes Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar.
In the footage, after a crowd gathers around the school starting at 20:02 on August 21, one of two children aged 16-17 is seen hitting his knees with both hands and throwing himself to the ground when Narin cannot be found.
The other child helps him up, and they walk together toward the mosque. Meanwhile, the crowd continues to grow. The footage has been added to the case file and has made a significant contribution to the progress of the investigation.
The first hearing of the case was held on November 7 at the 8th High Criminal Court. The court decided to continue the detention of the defendants and adjourned the hearing to December 26.
