Seed oil mixed into olive oil in 21 brands: A company stands out on the imitation and adulteration list

The Ministry of Agriculture continues its inspections regarding imitation and adulterated products. The latest published list included companies that sold products under 43 different brands by mixing seed oil into olive oil.
Among these companies, one of the most notable is Onay Ticaret. It was determined that seed oil had been mixed into olive oil in 21 brands belonging to the company's owner, Sabri Akın.
According to the report by Türkiye, it was found that sales of other brands belonging to Sabri Akın are still ongoing and these products are also available on popular e-commerce sites.
The continued circulation of fraudulent products in the market has caused concern among consumers.
According to the list published by the Ministry of Agriculture, the brands produced by Sabri Akın's Onay Ticaret that were found to have seed oil mixed into olive oil are as follows:
