Candan’s fashion designer friend Pınar Kerimoğlu shared information about the process in posts on her social media account. Kerimoğlu said doctors had stated that Nihal Candan needed to be admitted to intensive care as soon as possible, but that Candan had refused the recommendation.
In her statement, Kerimoğlu said, “Normally, she doesn’t eat anything. The doctors want intensive care, but she absolutely refuses. Despite my pleading, we could not convince her.”
In the video shared by Kerimoğlu, moments in which Nihal Candan, who looked extremely exhausted, tried to eat asparagus drew attention.
It was stated that Nihal Candan, who was reportedly down to 29 kilograms, is currently under observation in hospital, but that the course of her treatment is at a critical level.
