Son-in-law shoots father-in-law with a shotgun
In Aksaray, a father-in-law who went to his daughter's home to pick her up after she had an argument with her husband was shot by his son-in-law with a shotgun. While the father-in-law was wounded in the leg, the son-in-law was apprehended by police teams at his home along with the shotgun and taken into custody.

The incident occurred at midnight on Kurtuluş Street in the Kurtuluş neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Ahmet C. (29) had an argument with his wife, and his wife's father intervened.
While the son-in-law, Ahmet C., was arguing over the phone with his father-in-law, İsmail B. (55), the father allegedly went to his son-in-law's house to pick up his daughter following the argument.
The father-in-law knocked on the door of his son-in-law, who lives on the 4th floor of the building, and began to argue with him when he opened the door. As the argument quickly turned into a fight, the son-in-law grabbed a shotgun he kept in the house and opened fire on his father-in-law.
While the father-in-law, wounded in the leg, fell to the floor of the apartment building covered in blood, residents who heard the gunshot helped the wounded man outside. Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The medical teams arrived at the scene in a short time and provided the first intervention to the wounded father-in-law. The father-in-law was then carried to an ambulance and taken to the Emergency Department of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital.
Police teams, who launched an investigation into the incident, apprehended the son-in-law at his home along with the shotgun used in the crime and took him into custody.
It was learned that the father-in-law, who is under treatment at the hospital, is in good condition, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
