Speaking about the heavy rainfall affecting Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Şen said that Turkey, especially Istanbul, will experience winter this week. Stating that air temperatures in Istanbul will not exceed 8 degrees, Prof. Dr. Şen explained, "It will not snow in Istanbul, but it is currently snowing in Kırklareli and Edirne. The temperature in Istanbul will not exceed 8 degrees. The rainfall is heavy today, but there will be no rain starting tomorrow. On Thursday, however, rain is coming back to Istanbul. Starting from Monday, spring is returning."
