Ferdi Tayfur, known for songs such as "İçin Yanar," "Hatıran Yeter," "Emmioğlu," "Bana Sor," and "Ben de Özledim," and who passed away on January 2 due to liver and kidney failure, was laid to rest on January 4.
It was learned that Necla Nazır and Tuğçe Tayfur did not attend the memorial service, which was attended by his family and friends from the art world.
Tayfur’s nephew, Cumali Turanbayburt, who attended the service, spoke about the master artist's inheritance.

We are all of the same blood; hopefully, we will meet and come together, and the problems will be resolved. If my uncle were here, he would be saddened by these things. Hopefully, everything will fall into place over time."
Making a statement regarding Tayfur’s much-discussed inheritance, Turanbayburt said, "Everything will come to light soon; I cannot say it amounts to this much or that much. Of course, there is an estate."
