The full text of the TKP statement is as follows:
"Enough with you killing this country!
This time, the place where dozens of people lost their lives is not a mine. It is not a factory producing explosives or a construction site with a collapsed scaffolding. This time, the workplace is a hotel where dozens of families went to rest with their children during the semester break. As a result of the fire that broke out in the early hours of the morning at this hotel in Bolu, there are those who have lost their lives, those who are injured, and our citizens from whom no news has yet been received. Information is also reaching us that the death toll is much higher than the initial reports.
We are once again facing a workplace where even the simplest measures to ensure the safety of the hundreds of people inside were not taken. It is clear that there is no real inspection. It is clear that in this workplace, too, human life is at the very bottom of the priority list.
We are following the developments with concern. Our party organization in the city is doing its best to provide solidarity and support to our citizens who are trying to reach their relatives, both in the area where the hotel is located and at the hospitals.
We will fight with all our might to ensure that irresponsibility, market-driven practices, and a mindset that disregards human life are held accountable.
Our condolences to our country."
