Strong winds terror in Bursa: Plaza ceiling collapses, disaster narrowly averted
The ceiling of a plaza collapsed due to the severe southwesterly winds (lodos) affecting Bursa. While the incident caused great panic, the terrifying moments were captured on security cameras.

According to the information obtained,in the central Osmangazi district, on the Istanbul road, the suspended ceiling inside a plazacollapsed with a loud noisedue to the effect of thestrong wind.Whilecitizens inside at the timeescaped by mere seconds, the panic experienced was recorded moment by moment
bysecurity cameras.The footageshowed citizensquickly fleeingas the ceiling collapsed,narrowly escapingharm. Fortunately,there were no injuries in the incident,though the plaza sustained material damage.Uponnotification, teams arrived at the scene, took security measures in the building, and launched an investigation.
Authorities warned citizens to be cautious due to the severe lodos.
