Supplementary forensic report on Rojin Kabaiş released: Definite cause of death determined!

The additional report requested from the Council of Forensic Medicine regarding the death of university student Rojin Kabaiş, whose body was found 18 days after she went missing in Van, has been added to the file.

According to the report, it was determined that 19-year-old Rojin lost her life on the day she went missing and that the definite cause of death was drowning.

18-DAY SEARCH EFFORTS YIELD RESULTS

19-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, who was studying at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, did not return after leaving her dormitory on September 27.

The next day, the missing young woman's belongings were found on the shore of Lake Van, and search efforts were initiated.

Following 18 days of intensive search efforts, Rojin's body was found on the shore of Molla Kasım Village on Lake Van.

DEFINITE CAUSE OF DEATH DETERMINED

In the additional report from the Council of Forensic Medicine regarding the death of Rojin Kabaiş, it was stated that the young woman's definite cause of death was drowning.

The 1st Specialized Board of the Forensic Medicine Presidency emphasized that no signs of assault, poisoning, sexual assault, or any traumatic event were found.

As a result of the autopsy and crime scene investigations, it was definitively determined that the death occurred on September 27, the date she went missing.

DIED ON THE DAY SHE WENT MISSING

The fact that Rojin Kabaiş lost her life on September 27, the date she went missing, was also included in the Council of Forensic Medicine's report.

According to the report by Azra Sözcü from Haber Global, the report stated, "It is unanimously opined that the individual's death may have occurred on 27/09/2024, the date she went missing, and that she may have remained in that state during this period."
