Syrian army secures control of several points in Aleppo's Ashrafieh neighborhood: SDF members flee
The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that the Syrian army, which has been clashing with the SDF—the Syrian branch of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG—in Aleppo's Ashrafieh neighborhood, has secured control of several points.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that the Syrian army has secured controlinmany points in Aleppo's Ashrafieh neighborhood.The Ministry stated thatInternalSecurity Forces have been deployed to the points from which the
terrorist organization SDF elementswithdrewin order to establish security, and emphasized that in operations conducted in coordination with army units,priority was given to ensuring the safety of civiliansandcompletely clearing the region.The Ministry emphasized that the operations will continue with determinationto also cover the areas of Sheikh Maqsood under the occupation of theterrorist organization SDF,and called onthe organization's members to lay down their armsand surrender.
The Ministry's statement highlighted thatthe operationswill proceedsteadfastly, ensuring the safety of the civilian population remains the primary objective. The authorities reiterated theirdemand for the militants to cease hostilities immediatelyand surrender to state forces.
SDF members fled
Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib stated that many SDF membersin the Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh neighborhoods leftthe area during theclashes,and some of them deserted, stating, "InternalSecurity forces are now preparing to deployin these two neighborhoods to ensure full securityand to guarantee the safe returnof the evacuated residents to their homes."he said.
Stating that Aleppohas taken a new step toward security and stability,Governor al-Gharib said, "We ask our valued citizens to fully comply with instructions until security operationsare completedand not to rush their return.Thereturnprocesswill be regulated through official instructionsto be published on authorizedplatforms."
