In 2025, vehicle inspection fees will increase from the current 1,821 TL to 2,641 TL, marking a 45% rise. This increase will raise the budget that vehicle owners need to set aside for their annual maintenance.
Reminding that the revaluation rate (YDO), which is based on the October inflation data from TUIK, forms the basis for these increases, Ozan Bingöl stated that citizens will face higher taxes in 2025.
Tax expert Ozan Bingöl announced in a statement that the rate of price hikes to be implemented in 2025 will be around 45 percent. Ozan Bingöl also provided figures regarding the expected increases in the international departure fee, IMEI registration fee, and vehicle inspection fees.
The increase of the IMEI registration fee to 45 thousand 953 TL seems likely to dash the hopes of citizens considering purchasing a phone from abroad. Moreover, IMEI fees will not be the only costs subject to hikes in 2025.
In a post, Ozan Bingöl announced the expected increases in items such as the international departure fee, IMEI registration fee, vehicle inspection fee, and the lowest radar fine.
According to Ozan Bingöl, the increases will be reflected as follows:
The international departure fee will increase from 500 liras to 720 liras
The IMEI registration fee will increase from 31 thousand 692 liras to 45 thousand 953 liras
The vehicle inspection fee will increase from 1,821 liras to 2 thousand 641 liras
The lowest speeding ticket will increase from 1,506 liras to 2,185 liras
