Testimony of Gamze, who killed her lover, revealed: 'He threatened me and wanted to have intercourse'
The testimonies of the woman who surrendered to the police after killing her lover, with whom she was having an illicit affair, by slitting his throat, as well as her son who was in the vehicle during the incident and her husband who arrived at the scene later, have been revealed. It was learned that the murder was committed while the woman's son was also in the vehicle.

The incident occurred on the evening of January 24 at around 22:00 on the road to Samsun City Hospital in the Düvecik neighborhood of the Canik district, inside a light commercial vehicle with license plate 55 ARH 593. According to the information obtained, Gamze S. (38), a married mother of 3, met with her married lover, market vendor Ferit M. (45), with whom she had been having an illicit affair for a long time.
The argument that broke out between the parties resulted in murder. It is alleged that Gamze S. slit Ferit M.'s throat with a knife and a cleaver she had brought with her, and then struck his neck area multiple times with the cleaver. Following the incident, Gamze S. went to the police station with the knife and cleaver used in the murder and surrendered. Police teams arriving at the scene found Ferit M. in the vehicle with his throat slit.
Gamze S.'s detailed testimony has emerged
In her testimony, Gamze S. stated that she had been having an illicit affair with Ferit M. for a long time and that Ferit M. began to threaten her when she wanted to break up. Gamze S. claimed that Ferit M. had previously beaten her with a belt, sprayed her with pepper spray, and threatened that he would inflict the same violence on her child. Stating that Ferit M. had been calling her constantly since returning from Umrah about 10 days ago, Gamze S. said that on January 24, while she was at her mother's house, Ferit M. sent a message saying he was near the house. She stated that when she left her mother's house, she took the knife she had previously purchased and the cleaver she used for cutting wood with her, saying, "We got into the vehicle and went to the City Hospital road. Ferit threatened me here and wanted to have sex.
My son Aydın had learned about our relationship 10 days ago. My son saw that I was going with Ferit. We went to the City Hospital road. He threatened me here and wanted to have sex. I persuaded him, picked up my son Aydın, and we returned to the scene. My son was sitting in the front of the vehicle, and I was in the back. Ferit was drunk. He raised the beer bottle in his hand. I held the knife to his throat to scare him, and his throat was cut during this time. Then I struck a few more blows with the knife. When Ferit M. fell out of the vehicle, under the influence of the violence and threats I had experienced, I struck him a few more times with the cleaver while he was on the ground. I used the knife and cleaver myself during the incident. Neither my son nor my husband used any cutting tools," she said.
Admitted to giving the phone to her son
Gamze S. stated that she took Ferit M.'s mobile phone from the vehicle after the incident and told her son to destroy it because it contained private images of her, and that she did not know where the phone was thrown later. Stating that she had previously filed two complaints against Ferit M. for threats and assault and had obtained a restraining order, Gamze S. said that the last restraining order had expired shortly before the incident.
