Following this post, Çıtak appeared on the Beyaz Magazin program and described the process she went through with the following words:
"If I paid a price, everyone will pay. Suddenly, he came out and said, 'Dilan is my daughter.' From that moment on, there were as many people who disliked me as there were those who loved me. A lot of people terminated my business contracts. The Tatlıses surname has no benefit to the music I make."

Sending a message to the broadcast following Çıtak's remarks, Tatlıses said, "He should not use my name."
In response, Çıtak said, "I was ostracized and kicked out of the house because of that person. You cannot mess with İbrahim Tatlıses. If you mess with İbrahim Tatlıses, it will come back to haunt you like this... I did not take anyone's surname. They made me take it."
