It was reported that in the pita filling sample taken from a pita shop operating in the Pamukkale district, in addition to beef and fat, tomatoes, onions, peppers, parsley, and salt, heart was detected as offal.
Two oil companies operating in the Merkezefendi district had also been included in the list of imitation and adulterated food published by the Ministry on October 16, 2024.
In the examination of samples taken from the olive oils offered for sale by the companies, it was determined that seed oils had been mixed into the extra virgin olive oil.
Citizens want the list of imitation and adulteration to continue to be published and for inspections to be increased.
