The most preferred car brands in Turkey in 2024 have been announced: The name at the top is not giving up its spot to anyone!

Fiat achieved an 11.2 percent market share in the Turkish automotive market last year, earning the title of 'Best-Selling Brand of the Year' in the passenger car and light commercial vehicle category in 2024.

According to the statement made by the company, the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) announced the 2024 Turkish automotive sector sales results.

LEADER FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE TIME

Accordingly, 1 million 238 thousand 509 vehicles were sold in Turkey last year. FIAT maintained its leadership title for the sixth consecutive time with a total of 138 thousand 749 sales and an 11.2 percent market share.

The brand reached an 8.9 percent market share with 87 thousand 126 passenger car sales in 2024, while achieving a 20 percent market share in the light commercial vehicle segment with 51 thousand 623 sales.

The Egea, which began production in 2015, has maintained its leadership title in the passenger car segment for 9 years. In the light commercial vehicle category, the renewed Doblo and Ducato models contributed to the sales success.

The brand was also deemed worthy of an award in the 'Social Media Application of the Year' category with the FIAT-Topolino X Vialand Adventure.

'WE ARE RENEWING OUR PRODUCT RANGE AND AFTER-SALES SERVICES'

FIAT Brand Director Altan Aytaç, whose views were included in the statement, expressed his satisfaction with being the market leader for the sixth consecutive time.

Emphasizing that they support their market leadership, which has continued steadily since 2019, with new products, Aytaç stated that the company continues to renew its product range and after-sales services in line with customer expectations.

Aytaç said, ''This year, the Egea Cross, one of the most preferred SUV models in the Turkish automotive market, gained a new feature. The Traction+ traction system became standard equipment on all versions of the Egea Cross. I believe that the Egea family, which has been renewed in parallel with customer needs, will maintain its place at the top next year.

'TOPOLINO IS VERY IDEAL FOR URBAN TRANSPORTATION'

In addition to the Egea, we have started sales of two different body types of the Topolino, which is an excellent option for those looking for a sustainable and highly practical transportation solution. In addition to its design, the Topolino, which offers an ideal solution for urban transportation as it can be used from the age of 16 with a B1 license in Turkey, also allows families to meet their transportation needs.

In the last quarter of the year, we introduced our Fiat 600 model, which symbolizes our brand's return to the B segment, to the market with fully electric and hybrid engine options,'' he assessed.

Touching on the innovations in the FIAT Professional product range, Aytaç stated that they have started sales of the renewed version of the Ducato, which has been produced for over 40 years and is among the most preferred models in its segment globally, and the renewed face of the Doblo.

Aytaç stated that the Scudo Van, which started production at the Tofaş Factory in Bursa in November, has become even stronger with its new body type and new 1.5-liter engine option.
