The most successful mayors have been announced... Neither İmamoğlu nor Yavaş: the name at the top was a surprise
ORC Research has determined the most successful metropolitan mayors. While 8 out of the 10 names are from the CHP, only 2 names from the AKP were able to make the list. The name at the top, however, was a surprise.

ORC Research selected the 10 most successful Metropolitan Mayors with 15,400 participants across 30 Metropolitan Municipalities.
The names included in the list are as follows:
10- Trabzon Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç: 54.5 Percent (AKP)
9- Tekirdağ Mayor Candan Yüceer: 54.9 Percent (CHP)
8- Bursa Mayor Mustafa Bozbey: 55.2 Percent (CHP)
7- Aydın Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu: 56.1 Percent (CHP)
6- Balıkesir Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Akın: 56.5 Percent (CHP)
5- Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Nuri Çavuşoğlu: 57 Percent (CHP)
4- Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş: 57.4 Percent (CHP)
3- Muğla Mayor Ahmet Aras: 57.8 Percent (CHP)
While AKP Gaziantep Deputy Fatma Şahin took the first place on the list, CHP's Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu took the second place.
