Arolat, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions.

It has emerged that Metin Arolat, who passed away at the age of 52, was a guest on Armağan Çağlayan's program on September 5.

The program in which Arolat recounted the moments he returned from the brink of death has come back to the agenda.

"MY BREATH WAS GONE, I LOST CONSCIOUSNESS"

The program that Arolat was a guest on, on September 5, was broadcast 2 days ago. Arolat, who appeared quite healthy, had recounted the moments he returned from the brink of death years ago in the program, saying the following:

"I was at a friend's house in Çeşme. They returned to Istanbul, but I stayed behind. In the morning, they had left me a note saying, 'I made some meat in the fridge, you can eat it'... I got up, opened the fridge, and popped a piece of the meat into my mouth... I chewed it and tried to swallow, but I couldn't."

It got stuck in my throat. I drank water, it came out of my nose. There wasn't a gram of breath left... I put my hand in, my teeth cut my hands. I touched something in there but couldn't get it out. My blood pressure was dropping by the second. I said, 'this is all there is to life'...

I fell to the ground, opened my eyes, and there was a pool. I thought, I wish I had jumped into the pool. The pool gradually moved further away, some whiteness and so on... I didn't think I was dying.

At the last moment, I thought this; they will find me here now. In someone else's house. My mother was alive then. My mother would be losing her second child now. She will be very sad. What am I wearing? Was I to die here!

It was truly a moment of facing life, and I just went. I was thinking to myself, 'My friends are in Istanbul... they'll come days later and probably find me here, smelling of decay...'

I was gone, my consciousness was closed. Then suddenly, I woke up with a vibration. A bellow. I think singing and being able to use my diaphragm helped me in this life. That piece that I had been struggling to dislodge moved, and I took the best breath of my life."

HE HAD MADE HOLIDAY PLANS WITH ARMAĞAN ÇAĞLAYAN

Metin Arolat, who was going through a difficult period after losing his brother and mother one after another, also explained that he was receiving treatment to cope with the pain he was experiencing.

Metin Arolat and Armağan Çağlayan, whose friendship dates back years, had also made plans to go on vacation to Egypt in October.
