According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the combined wealth of these 15 individuals exceeds 2.2 trillion dollars. This figure is greater than the 2 trillion dollar market capitalization of Google's parent company, Alphabet, or the 1.8 trillion dollar market capitalization of Amazon.

Most of those with a net worth of over 100 billion dollars are known for the technology companies they founded and hold large amounts of shares in some of the world's most valuable companies.

Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, X, and SpaceX, with an estimated net worth of 245 billion dollars, tops the list, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault, founder and CEO of the world's largest luxury goods company, LVMH.

Arnault, a French citizen, and Amancio Ortega, the Spanish founder of the fashion group Inditex, known for chain brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, and Bershka, are the two Europeans on the list.

Ortega, who still owns 59% of Inditex, joined the club last month as the retail group recorded record sales. Most of the other members of the 100 billion dollar club live in America.
