New images have emerged regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on her way home from a Quran course on August 21 in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, and whose body was found on September 8 in a stream passing near the village.
The images obtained by Özgür Cebe from Sözcü have been published for the first time.
Nevzat Bahtiyar, who became a confessor and frequently changed his testimony, stated in his additional statement taken after he was removed from prison following his arrest: "Salim called me to Narin's house.
When I arrived, the doors of all the rooms were closed. Only one room's door was open. When I went inside, Narin's body was on the floor on the carpet. A foam-like liquid had come out of her mouth. Salim said he killed Narin himself and gave her to me to throw into the stream after wrapping her in the blanket he brought. I took the body out of the house. Then I put it in a sack and hid it in the stream," he said.
Following this statement, JASAT and Crime Scene Investigation teams went to Narin's house and used high-tech equipment to conduct biological evidence and DNA studies on all carpets, rugs, and mats in the house, which were evaluated as potentially belonging to different individuals.
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO NARIN, IT HAPPENED HERE!
According to these photos obtained by Sözcü, it is seen that a study was conducted on all carpets, rugs, and mats in Narin's house using a special lighting system to search for DNA samples and biological evidence such as saliva, drool, vomit, oral fluid, blood, hair, and nail samples that could belong to Narin or second or third parties.
It was reported that no concrete evidence leading to the identification of the perpetrators could be found on the carpets in the house, where the teams searched for hours with great meticulousness using evidence markers.
It was learned that the gendarmerie was late in this regard, and because the search efforts were conducted as a missing person case for the first 10 days rather than on suspicion of murder, kidnapping, or homicide, the family members misled the gendarmerie to gain time and washed all the carpets, sofa and armchair covers, bed linen sets, blankets, and any textile products in the house to hide the evidence, which is why no findings leading to the identification of the perpetrators could be found on the examined carpets.
THEY WASHED ALL THE CARPETS
Stains on the carpets were carefully collected using gloves and a special lighting method and sent to the Van Gendarmerie Criminal Laboratory, but no evidence of evidentiary value could be detected.
IRON DOOR DETAIL
According to the narrowed HTS records in the expert report, while a determination was made that Narin was killed in the house, photos showing that the gendarmerie also conducted evidence work on the bolt and lock mechanism of the iron door at the entrance of the little girl's house were included in the investigation file.
It was observed that the Gendarmerie Crime Scene Investigation teams conducted fingerprint and biological evidence studies on the white iron door of Narin's house and the sliding lock part that can be locked from the inside, looking for Narin's or her killers' prints, but no concrete evidence could be reached on the door of the house after the frantic cleaning work carried out in the house following the murder.
